INSTALLATION NOTES: Washing Machines require indirect draining into the macerating or grey water pumping unit. Meaning the washing machine or dishwasher needs to drain into a laundry tub or some other kind of retaining receptacle to allow gravity to feed the macerating or grey water pump.

Only the Self contained units, such as the Sani-Compact or the Sani-Star DO NOT require external venting. All other macerating units, grinding systems and grey water pumps DO require a full flowing vent. Breathing in and out freely. Automatic vents or other one way air vents will not suffice.
