The Saniplus is a system used in the installation of a complete bathroom up to 15 feet below the sewer level, or even up to a distance of 150 feet from the return column. The Saniplus grinding system can handle up to four appliances: toilet, sink, shower and bath. The Saniplus toilet uses only 6 liters (1.6 US gallons) of water per flush.
The installation of Saniplus is a child's play; there are only five connections to make.
• The grinder pump is connected to the end of an outlet toilet
horizontal.
• The toilet tank is connected to the water supply.
• The grinder pump is connected to the small waste pipes
diameter.
• The grinder pump is connected to the power supply.
The Saniplus grinding system includes a pressure chamber that starts and stops the unit and motor, which drives the grinder's stainless steel blades and pump.
When the toilet is activated, the water flowing into the Saniplus activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which in turn starts the engine. The engine is sealed for life in a housing filled with lubricating oil. A common spindle / shaft drives the rotor and shredder blades. Moving parts are kept to a minimum. The water and the organic matter of the waste are reduced in manure by the rotation blades of the mill operating at 3600 rpm. The centrifugal force causes the reduction of solids to be ejected through a grate into the container where it is captured by the rotor pump mounted under the engine. The pump unit vents up to 9 feet or 100 feet horizontally (with gravity drop). Once the water level in the container drops, the mic switch disables the unit until the flush is activated again. A normal operating cycle for Saniplus takes about 10 to 15 seconds depending on the discharge pipe configuration; the energy consumption is minimal.
In addition to sanitary waste, Saniplus can handle gray water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as: a sink, a bathtub and a shower. When you add a shower, a base will have to be built. This base must be 6 "(minimum) or 8" (recommended) at the edge, to allow installation of a P-trap and a 1/4 "slope. Foot is required to discharge gravity flow to the pump unit.
Wastewater from other sanitary fixtures is discharged into the Saniplus via two 2 "inlet ports, located on each side of the sump. Depending on the needs, it is possible to use either an inlet or both. The drain elbow located on top of the Saniplus can turn to the left or right depending on the installation of the drain piping. A simple non return ball valve is incorporated
This unit has been designed with a vent connection on the lid. All plumbing codes require connection to a ventilation system. Please note that the ventilation system must be two-way ventilation. The use of mechanical ventilation, air intake valve or similar device is not allowed, these are considered as one-way air ventilation systems.
The grinding system must be protected by a ground fault circuit breaker (DDFD).
The design of this model consists of vibration dampers that allow the reduction of noise utilization by reducing sounds transmitted from any place where this resonance transmission might occur. This new design reduces the operating noise of this pump by 10 dB.
The Saniplus unit must be connected to Saniflo brand rear toilet waste. This system uses much less water than a regular toilet because it uses only 1.28 GPG (4.8 liters) of water per flush. Note: This toilet only works in combination with the Saniplus.
Saniplus has been certified for American Standards and Canadian Standards (UPC & CSA). Macerating standard; US: CSA Certified & IAPMO (UPC) Listed - ASME A112.3.4, CA: Macerating Standard CSA B45.
All items can be purchased separately. However, the Saniplus works as a system and a bowl, toilet tank and crusher unit must therefore be purchased. An optional extension hose is available for the pump that must be installed behind the wall. No toilet seats, cabinets, shower or bath are included
